Game Status Update
Toronto’s Dakota Joshua has been activated from the long-term injured reserve but did not play in the recent 4-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Coach Craig Berube has indicated Joshua will participate in one of the games during the Florida trip after missing 20 games due to a kidney injury.
The Panthers remain without several key long-term injured players for this matchup. However, defenseman Dmitry Kulikov and forward Tomas Nosek might return soon, while Seth Jones may be back next week. Notably, Brad Marchand, Evan Rodrigues, and Aaron Ekblad will play following their absence in Florida’s previous game, which ended in a daunting 6-1 loss to the Lightning on February 5.
