Reggie Dinkins Cast Gets Diamond Football Necklaces from Tracy Morgan
Tracy Morgan said he bought about 35 real-diamond, 18-carat gold football jersey necklaces for the reggie dinkins cast and crew, a gift he described during the Monday, February 23, episode of TODAY With Jenna & Sheinelle.

Appearing on TODAY With Jenna & Sheinelle, the 57-year-old actor wore the necklace on air while hosts Sheinelle Jones and Jenna Bush Hager admired the piece. Morgan said he purchased the necklaces "for everyone involved in the show, " naming cameramen and craft services as among those he wanted to thank, and explained the gifts were his way of showing appreciation when words felt insufficient.
Morgan described set dinners and close bonds
Morgan recounted that the day before shooting the NBC series they had dinner at his home, saying food helped the group get comfortable and get to know one another. He told the hosts he looks at the people on set and feels they are more than a team — "we a family, " he said — and that he was intent on learning names of crew members so he could personally thank them.
Mockumentary pairing and surprise guest stars
The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins pairs Morgan with Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Academy Award–winning director Arthur Tobin in the show's mockumentary setup. Morgan described the pairing as a meeting of "a guy from the U. K. and a street guy from Brooklyn, " and also praised guest star Megan Thee Stallion, who Morgan said played a mailman and was "down to earth" on set. The series features an ensemble that includes Bobby Moynihan as Rusty, Erika Alexander as Monica, Precious Way as Brina and Jalyn Hall as Carmelo.
Morgan emphasized the personal nature of his gift — repeating that he bought about 35 necklaces — and said his aim was to show thanks to the whole crew during production. He discussed the necklaces and the set camaraderie on the February 23 episode of TODAY With Jenna & Sheinelle.
