National Margarita Day: Chains roll out bigger deals and extended promotions in 2026 celebration
Chains and bars across the country pushed discounts for national margarita day, centering many offers on Sunday, Feb. 22, and giving customers cheaper access to the tequila-based cocktail. The promotions range from a $2. 22 el Jimador pour at some sports grills to monthly-rotation specialty drinks and an extended Kona Grill promotion through Feb. 25.
National Margarita Day specials from Chili’s
Chili’s is leading the push with several deals at participating locations, including a $5 Tequila Classic and a $7 Patrón Frozen Margarita made with Patrón Silver Tequila, triple sec and lime juice. The chain is also pouring a $6 Margarita of the Month called the StrawEddy, a strawberry-inspired drink made with Lunazul Blanco Tequila, Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka and strawberry puree. That StrawEddy is part of Chili’s new Margarita of the Month Club, which customers can sign up for to track and access the chain’s rotating monthly margarita offerings.
Weekend offers at TGI Fridays and Duffy’s Sports Grill
TGI Fridays posted on Facebook that it is offering a $5 Super Fresh Margarita made with Don Julio Blanco and freshly squeezed lime juice, available throughout the weekend. Duffy’s Sports Grill is running one of the lowest-priced deals of the day with $2. 22 el Jimador Margaritas available all Sunday at participating locations for dine-in guests.
Kona Grill extends its promotion through Feb. 25
For those looking to keep the celebration going beyond Sunday, Kona Grill is extending its special through Feb. 25. The restaurant is offering its signature Kona Margarita for $6, available all day at the bar during the promotion.

From frozen classics to spicy twists, National Margarita Day is seeing discounted margaritas served up at bars across the U. S., and one roundup highlighted five restaurants offering specials this year, including Chili’s, TGI Fridays, Duffy’s Sports Grill and Kona Grill.
