After striking Doran’s BMW, the Bentley slammed into a guardrail, sending debris across the highway and damaging a third car that was traveling in the opposite direction. Smoke could be seen billowing from the Bentley as it continued down the road before eventually pulling over; officers later described the vehicle as totaled.

When a Connecticut State Trooper approached the stopped vehicle, airbags had deployed and McMahon appeared shook. The trooper told him, “I’m trying to catch up to you and you keep taking off.
