St. Louis CITY SC Launches New Tina Turner Kit
St. Louis CITY SC has introduced a groundbreaking initiative to honor the legendary Tina Turner. Dubbed The Tina Turner Kit, this release marks a historic collaboration with adidas, being the first soccer kit designed in partnership with a female music artist. The MLS club’s tribute pays homage to Turner’s musical roots and cultural impact on St. Louis.
The Tina Turner Kit: A Visual Celebration
The Tina Turner Kit, vibrant in gold, captures the energy of Turner’s iconic performances. It features her silhouette embossed in metallic gold on the authentication tag. Additionally, her signature appears in CITY Red, reminiscent of her famous lipstick. The kit will act as the secondary jersey for St. Louis CITY SC during the 2026 and 2027 Major League Soccer seasons.

Events Celebrating Tina Turner
- Eternal: A Tribute to Tina Turner: A concert by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, featuring Brittany Howard and Kennedy Holmes, will take place on February 15 at Powell Hall.
- Tina Turner Pop-up Shop: Located at City Foundry, the pop-up will display artifacts from Turner’s life, including her GRAMMY Award and iconic dresses, running from February 11-20.
- Tina Turner Night: Scheduled for August 22 at Energizer Park, a match against the Houston Dynamo will celebrate Turner with her song “Simply the Best”.
Community Engagement and Education
St. Louis CITY SC is committed to fostering community connections through music education. The club will collaborate with the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) to develop a curriculum centered around Turner. Young participants will learn songs from her repertoire and enjoy choreographed performances.
A portion of the proceeds from The Tina Turner Kit will support this educational initiative. COCA, celebrating 40 years of arts education, aims to empower artists of all ages and levels in St. Louis.
