Hayley Williams Unveils Dynamic New Band, Power Snatch
Hayley Williams, the talented frontwoman of Paramore, has consistently pushed her creative boundaries in recent years. Following the release of Paramore’s latest album, “This Is Why,” in 2023, she embarked on a significant collaboration.
In 2025, Williams released a collection of singles that formed the album “Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party,” showcasing her artistic growth. As she enters a new chapter, she has announced the formation of a new band called Power Snatch.
Introducing Power Snatch
Power Snatch is a duo featuring Williams and her longtime collaborator, Daniel James. James previously contributed to “Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party,” solidifying their creative partnership.
The newly formed band has already premiered their first track, “Assignment,” on Apple Music 1. Additionally, fans have discovered more music from Power Snatch, including a track titled “DMs” available on Bandcamp and an unreleased song previously shared on Instagram.
Reflections on Paramore
In a recent interview, Williams spoke about the future of Paramore. She emphasized the importance of taking breaks to process their experiences as a band. Williams mentioned, “There are no better musicians in the world than Zac [Farro] and Taylor.” She highlighted the unique magic of Paramore while expressing her desire to explore new creative avenues.
