Production Details

David Hare expressed excitement about the revival, stating, “It’s thrilling for me to watch Rebecca Lucy Taylor and a brilliant ensemble revive the play that shook the plaster off the ceiling of the Royal Court Theatre just fifty years ago.”

‘Teeth ‘n’ Smiles’ portrays the journey of Maggie Frisby, who was once the voice of 1960s counterculture. Now facing despair, her youthful dreams of rebellion have wilted into bitterness. Throughout the narrative, Maggie immerses herself in a tumultuous world, driven by alcohol, anger, and an unyielding spirit.
