Honoring Alex Pretti: Week of Action Against ICE-Related Deaths
Alex Pretti, an ICU registered nurse, tragically lost his life due to the actions of federal immigration agents. Pretti was dedicated to saving lives, notably at the Minneapolis VA Hospital, and served as a peaceful observer of ICE actions against vulnerable communities. His commitment to patient advocacy and community care did not wane even in the face of imminent danger from ICE. In honor of Pretti and other victims of ICE-related violence, National Nurses United members are organizing a week-long series of actions.
