Bournemouth has officially secured the signing of Rayan from Vasco da Gama for a fee of €28.5 million (£24.7 million) plus additional bonuses. The announcement comes after Rayan successfully completed his medical examination on Monday, following his arrival in England on Sunday.

At just 19 years old, Rayan has already made a significant impact in Brazilian football. He is a product of the Vasco da Gama academy and became the youngest player in the club’s history to debut in the senior team in 2023, at the age of 16 years and over five months.
