Shedeur Joins Pro Bowl Roster as Replacement Player

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders has been named a replacement player for the Pro Bowl, as reported by NFL insider Jordan Schultz. Sanders replaces Drake Maye, who will not participate due to his team, the New England Patriots, advancing to Super Bowl LX.

Pro Bowl Roster Adjustments

Initially, the AFC roster included quarterbacks Drake Maye, Justin Herbert, and Josh Allen. However, with Maye out of the lineup, the selection committee needed to find a replacement due to several injuries among candidates. Notably, Bo Nix, Patrick Mahomes, and Daniel Jones each faced season-ending injuries, leaving Sanders as a qualified option.

Shedeur Sanders’ Performance

The Cleveland Browns selected Shedeur Sanders in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. During the season, he started in seven games, leading the team to a 3-4 record. His passing stats included:
