His Life at the Academy
For seven years, Villena was the center of Alcaraz’s tennis training. The wooden house, approximately 90 square meters, was designed for efficiency and focus. It included:
- A small porch
- A garden
- A living room
- A kitchen
- A bathroom
- An additional guest room
Although not luxurious, the house’s strategic location near tennis courts and training facilities allowed Alcaraz to minimize distractions. This nearly monastic lifestyle was crucial for his rapid rise in the global tennis ranks.
A Return to Family Roots
Alcaraz’s return to El Palmar reflects his desire to reconnect with his origins. This picturesque residential area, situated southwest of Murcia, has become more appealing over the years. Improved streets, green spaces, and new trees have enhanced its charm, while housing prices remain moderate.

Alcaraz’s family home is a building constructed in 2001. It features:
