Crash Leaves Police Officers in Critical Condition

Two police officers remain in a critical condition after a collision on the A20 in Kent. The crash occurred while officers were responding to an emergency call at about 7.45pm last night.

The vehicles involved were a marked Ford Focus and a blue Volkswagen Scirocco. The collision took place at the junction of the westbound A20 London Road and Button Street in Farningham, near Swanley.

An air ambulance landed close to Pedham Place Golf Club to support the response. A member of the public was also seriously injured in the incident.

Paramedics and multiple emergency crews attended the scene. All three injured people were assessed and treated before transfer to a London hospital.
