Assistant Chief Jim Stymiest provided information regarding the incident, confirming that the propane tank was connected to a residential building located at 1676 Larch Street, which houses 12 units.

Affected areas included the vicinity from Jubilee Road south to Jennings Street and west to Oxford. In response, emergency services evacuated several homes and blocked off multiple streets to ensure public safety.
