Each death teaches him new lessons, leading him closer to an elite soldier named Rita Vrataski.

Creative Team and Music

Directed by Kenichiro Akimoto at STUDIO4°C, the film features a theme song titled “Tsuretette” performed by singer-songwriter AKASAKI. This marks AKASAKI’s first contribution as a composer for an anime theme, specifically crafted for “All You Need Is Kill.”

Origin of the Story

The original light novel, published in December 2004 by Shueisha, was later translated into English by Viz Media in 2009. The story inspired a highly successful live-action adaptation, “Edge of Tomorrow,” released in 2014, which garnered over US$370 million worldwide.

With strong performances and a compelling narrative, “All You Need Is Kill” continues to attract audiences and forge its path at the box office. Filmogaz.com will keep fans updated on its ongoing performance and additional festival appearances.
