2XKO Season 1 Launches Amid Extensive Maintenance Schedule Unveiling
Riot Games has officially announced the launch of 2XKO Season 1, following a maintenance schedule aimed at enhancing the game for console players. After a successful early access period for PC users, console gamers can expect to join in on the action soon. This exciting release will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
Launch Times and Maintenance Schedule
The much-anticipated launch is set for 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, although these times are estimated and may vary. To prepare for the extensive maintenance, the 2XKO servers will be offline from 9 a.m. PT until approximately 6 p.m. PT on the release date. During this downtime, players who have logged in at least once can still access the game in offline mode.
Roster Updates
As part of the Season 1 launch, players can look forward to the addition of Caitlyn to the character roster. This update follows previous announcements regarding balance adjustments but detailed changes have not yet been disclosed. The developers aim to introduce a new character every two months throughout 2026, ultimately increasing the total champions to 16 by year-end.
- Current Roster: Ahri, Blitzcrank, Braum, Darius, Ekko, Illaoi, Jinx, Teemo, Vi, Warwick, and Yasuo.

Gameplay and Access
Players can utilize several characters for free during online matches. All other champions are available for acquisition using in-game currency or real money. Riot Games is also allowing players to try out any character offline in modes such as Training and combo trials, even if they don’t own them, which adds to the game’s accessibility.
