Severe Crash Shuts Down Sections of Perth’s Reid Highway
A significant accident occurred on Reid Highway in Perth’s north, leading to a shutdown of the westbound lanes. The incident involved a FedEx truck and two passenger vehicles, resulting in multiple serious injuries.

The crash took place around 12:55 PM on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, near Alexander Drive in Dianella. According to eyewitness reports, one of the cars allegedly veered through the bushland median strip, crossing into oncoming traffic.
Injuries and Emergency Response
A man is in critical condition following the collision. Two other individuals, a man in his 50s and another in his 20s, were transported to Royal Perth Hospital. Additionally, a female child was taken to Perth Children’s Hospital at a normal speed.

One man remains at the scene with serious injuries. The FedEx truck was located in a bog on the opposite side of the highway.
