Varun Dhawan Addresses Border 2 Trolls: ‘Noise Doesn’t Matter’

Varun Dhawan has publicly addressed the trolling he has received regarding his performance in the upcoming film, Border 2. The actor emphasized that the criticism “doesn’t really matter” during the launch event for the trailer of Braves Of The Soil.

Varun Dhawan’s Response to Border 2 Trolls

In light of the backlash received after the release of the film’s song “Ghar Kab Aaoge,” Varun shared his perspective through a fan’s video on X (formerly known as Twitter). He remarked, “I believe that you shut down the noise and just let your work do the talking. All these keep happening. It doesn’t really matter.”

Varun stressed the importance of focusing on his craft rather than public opinion. He stated, “What I work for, you will get to know this Friday,” referring to the film’s upcoming release.

The Importance of a Good Film

Varun Dhawan highlighted that a quality film holds paramount importance in his career. “I believe in the film. It’s very important to make a good film. I’m not concerned with numbers,” he explained. He believes that audiences seek entertainment in theaters, and everything else is secondary. “I come from the school where a person’s work speaks,” he added.

Support from Industry Peers

Amidst the criticism, actor Suniel Shetty offered his support for Varun. Known from the original Border film, Shetty commented on the backlash surrounding Varun. “Has anybody seen the film? Nobody has seen the film. We’ve only seen glimpses. Varun Dhawan will kill it in the film — he’s outstanding,” he stated.

Suniel continued by emphasizing that Varun portrays a decorated officer dedicated to serving the country, encouraging fans to reserve judgment until after they see the film.
