Fortune Ranks 2 PA Companies Among Nation’s Top Employers

Two Pennsylvania firms placed near the top of Fortune’s 2026 100 Best Places To Work list. Chester-based Power Home Modeling ranked 20th, while Altoona-based Sheetz placed 32nd.

Power Home Modeling, headquartered in Chester, secured the 20th spot. The company operates 26 regional offices across the country.

Its Glassdoor score stands at 4.6, with a 97 percent CEO approval rating. Twelve percent of its workforce are veterans, and it has raised more than $12 million to fight pediatric cancer.

Sheetz

Sheetz, based in Altoona, is the better-known Pennsylvania entrant on the list. The convenience store chain finished at number 32.

Travis Sheetze, Sheetz’s CEO and president, said the family-owned business places people at the center of its work. He added the recognition underscores commitments to employee support, growth, and being valued.
