Mike Vrabel Doubts Mack Hollins’ Return to Practice This Week

As the AFC Championship Game approaches, the New England Patriots face uncertainty regarding receiver Mack Hollins’ availability. Hollins, who has been on injured reserve since late December due to an abdominal injury, has the chance to return this week.

Mike Vrabel Comments on Mack Hollins’ Status

Head coach Mike Vrabel addressed Hollins’ situation during his Monday press conference. He stated, “I can’t be certain right now,” indicating that the decision regarding Hollins’ practice participation has not been finalized. The team is still evaluating several players who could potentially return to action.

Mack Hollins’ Performance in 2025

Hollins has been a significant contributor to the Patriots’ offense. In the 2025 season, he recorded:

  • 46 receptions
  • 550 receiving yards
  • 2 touchdowns

He ranked third on the team in receptions, following stars Stefon Diggs and Hunter Henry. In terms of receiving yards, Hollins stood fourth, finishing behind Diggs, Henry, and Kayshon Boutte.

Other Injury Concerns

Along with Hollins, the status of defensive tackle Joshua Farmer remains uncertain. Farmer has been dealing with a hamstring injury and has yet to begin practicing. The Patriots’ first injury report of the week will be released on Wednesday, providing further clarity on player availability.
