Kath McLay has announced her departure from Walmart, where she served as the CEO of Walmart International. Her resignation was revealed in a press release on January 15, 2024, and she will remain with the company until January 31 to facilitate a smooth transition.
Kath McLay’s Tenure at Walmart
McLay joined Walmart in April 2015. Over the past decade, she has held several pivotal roles, including leading Walmart’s Neighborhood Market division and serving as CEO of Sam’s Club from November 2019 to September 2023. Under her leadership, Sam’s Club achieved 12 consecutive quarters of double-digit sales growth.
