Warner Records artists Josh Groban and Teddy Swims are set to perform at the 2026 Grammy Hall of Fame Gala. The event honors Warner Records as this year’s recipient of the Visionary of Music Award.
Event basics
The gala is presented by the Recording Academy and the Grammy Museum. It takes place Friday, May 8, 2026, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
Broadcast journalist Anthony Mason will return as host. The show will be produced by former Grammy Awards executive producer Ken Ehrlich alongside Renato Basile, Chantel Sausedo, Lindsay Saunders Carl and Lynne Sheridan.

Josh Groban and Teddy Swims will join a roster of announced performers. Each act will pay tribute to one of the year’s Grammy Hall of Fame inductees.
Also scheduled are George Clinton, Heart founding members Ann and Nancy Wilson, Lucinda Williams, and a cappella gospel sextet Take 6. Singer, songwriter and pianist Norah Jones will perform and receive the Ray Charles Architect of Sound Award.
Artist credentials
Groban, 45, has achieved three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200. Those albums are Closer (2004), Noel (2007) and All That Echoes (2017).
Swims, 33, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Lose Control.” The song was Billboard’s year-end No. 1 for 2024.
“Lose Control” also set records for most weeks in the Hot 100 top 10, at 80. It logged 112 total weeks on the Hot 100 chart.
Both artists have earned Grammy nominations. Groban has five nominations and Swims has two.
Industry recognition and context
Warner Records co-chairmen Aaron Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson highlighted the label’s focus on artist development. They said supporting artists and building long-term careers remains central to their work.
Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. praised Warner’s six-decade legacy. He noted the label’s role in shaping the industry and championing creative excellence.
Grammy Museum president and CEO Michael Sticka called Warner Records a fitting recipient of the Visionary of Music Award. He cited the label’s long record of supporting influential artistry.
Past honorees and awards
Republic Records was the label honoree at the 2025 gala. Artists John Mellencamp and Conan Gray performed that year.
Atlantic Records was honored in 2024. Performers included Shinedown, Ravyn Lenae, and The War and Treaty.
George Clinton and the Wilson sisters have previously received Recording Academy lifetime achievement awards. Lucinda Williams, Take 6 and Norah Jones together hold 21 Grammy Awards.

The gala will celebrate 14 recordings inducted into the 2026 Grammy Hall of Fame. Those titles span nearly a century of recorded music.
