Lulu and OMD Lead NHS My Music Series 2026 Mission
JOY. Concerts has confirmed the 2026 return of the NHS My Music series. The campaign brings major British artists to venues across Sussex. Funds raised will support local healthcare services.
Lineup and schedule
The confirmed roster features Lulu, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, and Starsailor. Each act will appear at a different Sussex venue.
- Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark — June 28 at the Brighton Centre. The synth-pop pioneers will perform an influential electronic set.
- Starsailor — October 3 at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill. The band marks 25 years since Love Is Here with a special “with strings” performance.
- Lulu — October 15 at the Brighton Dome. The Eurovision winner and Relight My Fire star will present a career-spanning show with optional pre-show meet-and-greet packages.
Charity partnership and local impact
The NHS My Music initiative began in 2025. JOY. Concerts runs the series in a long-term partnership with My Charity University Hospitals Sussex.
Organisers say 100% of profits from tickets and merchandise are returned to the community. Those funds will support seven local hospitals.
- Investments include neonatal equipment purchases.
- Funds will finance advanced technology for cancer treatment.
- Support also covers staff wellbeing initiatives.
Giles Witcomb, Head of Fundraising, says the concerts allow the charity to extend services beyond standard NHS provision. The events aim to combine commercial viability with clear philanthropic goals.
