They even sat next to Bronny James during warmups. Taylor said they wanted to witness greatness up close while LeBron still plays.

James appeared focused before tipoff, wearing earphones and staring at the court. He largely ignored the antics of the costumed fans.
At halftime, the Lakers led 50-48. LeBron had six points and ten assists at the break.

With key guards sidelined, James must shoulder a larger offensive burden. The Lakers will need strong support from role players to advance.
