New Director Takes Helm at Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center

Background and career
Rivera is a Bridgeport native who rose through the ranks as a dispatcher. He has long experience inside the city’s emergency communications system.
As the new director, Rivera said he takes the helm with a clear safety focus. He emphasized ensuring first responders and municipal staff return home safely each day.
