Driver Elijah Fernandez said the bicyclist began following his truck and then blocked the roadway. He says the suspect tossed the e-bike into the road before raising his arms.

Fernandez said he and the others ducked inside the truck as he kept driving. The group had been returning from a fishing trip, he added.

Charges and legal status

Jamieson faces three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. A warrant for his arrest was issued April 8, and he was arrested April 9.

He is being held without bond. A court appearance is set for April 30.

Records show a prior arrest in March 2025 for resisting a public officer.
