Brooklyn Honors Knicks Guard Jose Alvarado
Jose Alvarado returned to Williamsburg on April 11, 2026. The Knicks point guard was greeted with a community celebration at the Williamsburg Community Center. He received a formal Proclamation marking his homecoming.
Homecoming event
The celebration drew more than 200 residents. Attendees received Knicks swag and lined up for autographs and photos.
Alvarado signed items and spoke with neighborhood youth. He recalled playing pickup games at the same center as a child.
