Williams spent 28 years at NBC News and anchored the nation’s most-watched newscast. He has covered political conventions, presidential elections, wars, natural disasters, and other major events worldwide.
He has reported from more than two dozen countries and interviewed seven U.S. presidents. Recently, he anchored Election Night Live on Amazon Prime, which earned him his 13th Emmy.
Community service
Williams also serves as a volunteer firefighter. He is an active-duty lieutenant in Ocean County, New Jersey.
Production and release
The podcast is executive produced by Jonathan Wald, a four-time Emmy winner who previously worked with Williams at NBC. Wald also oversaw Election Night Live with Williams.
