Toulouse Racecourse Opens to All for Races and Events This Sunday

On Sunday 19 April 2026 the Hippodrome de la Cépière stages a major meeting. Toulouse Racecourse opens to all, staging races and events throughout the day.

Overview of the meeting

The card highlights the Vase d’Argent, the third stage of the Défi du Galop – Georges Camprubi (Listed). The race is run over 2,000 metres and is open to horses aged four and older.

The programme includes eight national flat races in total. Two additional Listed contests complete the high-level racing menu.

Schedule and practical information

Gates open at 12:00 with free parking for visitors. Racing begins at 15:30 and runs every 30 minutes until about 20:00.

Food options are available throughout the site. The panoramic restaurant Les Bouillons Toulousains opens at noon. Reservations for the restaurant are taken at 06 76 34 86 02.

Family activities and visitor experiences

Organisers have planned a large treasure hunt starting at 15:30. The activity is limited to the first 150 children and features a golden rabbit theme.

Chocolate eggs will be distributed during the afternoon. Free guided tours of the stables and race preparation are also offered.

Admission is priced at €6. Students and CMI cardholders pay €4. Entry is free for children under 16.
