NVT Analysis Reveals XRP’s Strong Fundamentals at $1.37

The market value of XRP fell 51.7% since October 2025, reaching $1.37. CryptoQuant author YJ analyzed on-chain metrics, and Filmogaz.com reviewed the findings.

NVT measures and current reading

The Network Value to Transaction ratio compares market value to transaction volume. It is similar to a price-to-earnings metric in traditional markets.

YJ reported the NVT sits at 170.2. This level is lower than the large spikes seen in 2025.

YJ also noted the NVT line tightened in April 2026, indicating volatility compression. Such compression often precedes larger price moves.

Transaction activity: 2025 versus 2026

Daily transactions in 2025 ranged from 1.1 million to 2.2 million. There were a few spikes up to 2.6 million.

No daily count exceeded 2.8 million between February and December 2025. Network use remained limited relative to later levels.

In 2026, transactions rose to between 1.79 million and 3 million per day. Spikes surpassed 4.4 million, and one day reached 5.17 million last month.

The 5.17 million reading was the highest in two years. Activity in 2026 never fell below 1.7 million.

The lowest recorded day was 1.74 million on January 1, 2026.

Price history and institutional inflows

XRP traded mostly between $2 and $3 during 2025. It briefly reached $3.6 in July 2025.

Since October 2025, the token shed 51.7% of its value to $1.37. At the same time, institutional demand increased.

About $1 billion flowed into spot XRP ETFs. These inflows add steady, meaningful volume to the market.

Implications for value

YJ argues that stronger transaction volume now supports the current price better than 2025 highs. The NVT Analysis highlights that these on-chain trends point to Strong Fundamentals for XRP at $1.37.
