The Strokes Reveal 2026 Tour Across UK, Europe, North America, and Japan
The Strokes have revealed dates for a 2026 tour across the UK, Europe, North America and Japan. The run supports a new record and follows the release of comeback single “Going Shopping”. The band will play from June through late October, with major arena stops and festival appearances.

Recording and new album
The band’s first record since 2020 will arrive alongside the tour. The previous LP, The New Abnormal, was released in 2020. The new album was tracked in Costa Rica with producer Rick Rubin. Recording took place in a mountain house and was completed in several international locations.
Guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. described the sessions as a magical and looser process than past records. He said the experience renewed the band’s appetite for writing. Rubin spoke about the band playing outdoors during the sessions.
