Chelsea Clinton Competes in 130th Boston Marathon
Organizers confirmed Friday that Chelsea Clinton will be among the thousands running from Hopkinton to Back Bay on April 20. The field includes elite athletes, former professionals, and public figures.
Clinton’s background and recent races
Chelsea Clinton is 46 and serves as vice chair of the Clinton Foundation. She is also an author and the daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
She ran the New York City Marathon in November 2025. Her official finish time there was 3:44:22.

Suni Williams: career and recent return
Suni Williams and astronaut Butch Wilmore returned to Earth in March 2025. A planned one-week test flight stretched into a 286-day odyssey after thruster problems.
Williams is 60 and a Needham native. She served more than 27 years at NASA and retired at the end of 2025.
Her space résumé includes 608 days in space across three station missions. She set a record for female spacewalk time with 62 hours during nine excursions.
Race route and coverage
The event will follow the traditional course from Hopkinton to Back Bay. Thousands of runners are expected to take part.
