Free Thames Cruises Reward London Marathon Runners
Filmogaz.com reports that the city’s river sightseeing operator will offer complimentary trips to participants in two major London races this April. The initiative covers finishers of the London Landmarks Half Marathon and the London Marathon.
Who is eligible
Runners who complete the London Marathon on 26 April can claim a free sightseeing cruise. The offer covers the event’s approximately 55,000 finishers.
Participants in the London Landmarks Half Marathon, held on 12 April, are also eligible. Around 20,000 half marathon runners qualify for the same free cruise deal.
How to claim the free cruise
Finishers must show their 2026 medal or a registration confirmation email. This can be done at designated ticket offices on specified dates.
Marathon finishers can redeem the offer at ticket desks on Sunday 26 April or Monday 27 April. Half marathon finishers can claim on Saturday 11 April, Sunday 12 April, or Monday 13 April.
Online bookings and discount codes
Runners booking online should use voucher code marathonfree for the London Marathon. Half marathon runners should use LLHMFREE when reserving online.
Friends and family receive a 30% discount. Use marathon30 for the London Marathon and LLHM30 for the Landmarks Half Marathon.
Route, piers and landmarks
The sightseeing cruise runs several miles along the Thames. It calls at Westminster Pier, London Eye Pier, Tower Pier, and Greenwich Pier.
Passengers will see The O2, Big Ben, the Tower of London, and the Houses of Parliament. The route also highlights the South Bank and historic Greenwich.
Where to collect discounted tickets
Discounted and free tickets are available at ticket offices located at Westminster Pier, Tower Pier, and Greenwich Pier. Proof of running completion is required.
