Kevin Bacon Leads ‘Southern Bastards’ Pilot Debut on Hulu
Filmogaz.com has learned that Kevin Bacon will star in the Southern Bastards pilot for Hulu.
Reinaldo Marcus Green will direct and executive produce the episode. He replaces Nia DaCosta as director.
Role and premise
The story follows a tenacious military veteran who travels to Craw County, Alabama.
She seeks her estranged father and uncovers organized crime run by a celebrated high school coach.
Bacon will play Earl, the son of legendary Sheriff Bert. Earl is a blue-collar army veteran.
He wants to mend fences and reconnect with his daughter. He is willing to stir the hornet’s nest in Craw County.

Southern Bastards is based on graphic novels by Jason Aaron and Jason Latour.
The creators will executive produce the series adaptation.
