Jennifer Tilly addressed her friendship with Garcelle Beauvais on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live. She told host Andy Cohen she tried to reconnect after Garcelle’s unexpected departure from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

A fan asked if Garcelle had contacted Tilly after a tense RHOBH episode. In that episode, Tilly confronted Sutton Stracke about selfish behavior. Tilly suggested that behavior contributed to Garcelle leaving the show.
Tilly said Garcelle did not reach out after the episode aired. She did confirm some communication since Garcelle’s exit, but no in-person meeting occurred.
Attempts to reconnect and cancellations
Tilly said she reached out multiple times after Garcelle walked out of the reunion. They spoke briefly, but they have not met in person since then.
She described several planned meetups that fell through. A scheduled lunch was canceled. A planned dinner was also canceled. Tilly said the repeated cancellations made her feel Garcelle wanted distance.
She referenced the book He’s Not Really That Into You to explain her reaction. After repeated no-shows, Tilly decided to give Garcelle space and let her move on.
