May lineup

May 2 — Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo will both host and serve as the musical guest on May 2. It marks her first time hosting and her third appearance as musical guest.

Rodrigo is due to release a new album titled you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love on June 12. The May appearance precedes that release.

May 9 — Matt Damon with Noah Kahan

Matt Damon returns as host for a third time on May 9. Noah Kahan will perform as the musical guest for his second appearance.

Damon appears next in Christopher Nolan’s film The Odyssey, which opens July 17. Kahan issued his fourth album, The Great Divide, on April 24.

May 16 — Will Ferrell and Paul McCartney (Season Finale)

Will Ferrell will close the month as host on May 16, the season 51 finale. This will be his sixth time hosting the show.

Paul McCartney will return as musical guest for his fifth appearance. McCartney’s new album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, is scheduled for May 29.

Ferrell also executive produces and stars in a new comedy, The Hawk, which premieres this summer on Netflix.

Earlier spring episode

New episodes continue earlier in April. On April 11, Colman Domingo will host with Anitta as musical guest.

Broadcast and production details

Saturday Night Live airs live on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET (8:30 p.m. PT). Episodes also stream live on Peacock.
