Scope of the recall

The recall covers four 16-ounce beverage pints produced by the Wawa Beverage Company. No illnesses have been reported so far.

Cause and corrective action

Wawa identified a temporary equipment issue at its beverage facility. That malfunction may have allowed milk to enter certain products.

The company says it corrected the problem and removed the affected items from store shelves. The recall is ongoing while the company completes its follow-up.
