On Monday night, rapper Lil Tjay found himself in legal trouble related to a recent shooting incident involving Offset. The Seminole Police Department reported that Tjay, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merritt, was arrested at a valet area outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida.

Tjay was charged with disorderly conduct, specifically affray, and booked into Broward County Jail. His bail was set at $500. Alongside the disorderly conduct charge, he faced a traffic violation carrying a $2,500 bond.
