Apple Unveils Liquid Glass Apps in New Developer Gallery

Apple has made significant updates to its developer website, highlighting third-party applications that utilize Liquid Glass technology. This latest enhancement is part of the revamped design gallery, which first launched in November. The updated gallery showcases a variety of apps created to deliver natural and responsive experiences across Apple’s platforms.

Introduction of Liquid Glass Apps

The second version of the Liquid Glass design gallery emphasizes the growing adoption of this innovative design language. Apple has indicated that both developers and the company have refined their implementations, enhancing functionality and visual appeal.

Highlighted Apps in the Gallery

Among the featured applications is Carrot Weather, which has received a complete design overhaul. While the app retains its humorous character, the updated visual style is particularly noticeable when navigating the map on the Radar tab. Developer Brian Mueller streamlined the app by reducing the number of tabs in the bottom toolbar, resulting in a more user-friendly interface. Additionally, he introduced a musical feature that adds to the app’s charm.

Another notable app, Denim, caters to music enthusiasts by allowing users to create personalized playlist artwork for Apple Music. This application has integrated Liquid Glass elements within its toolbar controls, which blend seamlessly with the darker background. The updated design also includes improved undo and redo buttons and refreshed text labels on cover art.
