Hall of Fame Reveals Inductees for Class of 2026
The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame unveiled its Class of 2026 on Saturday. The announcement came before the Final Four tip-off in Indianapolis.
Several inductees had been reported earlier. Those names included Bucks coach Doc Rivers, former Suns coach Mike D’Antoni, Amar’e Stoudemire, Elena Delle Donne, and Candace Parker.
Men’s honorees
The men’s selections include coaches, players, and an official. Gonzaga head coach Mark Few was among those honored.
Few is a two-time Naismith Coach of the Year. The Hall noted him as the winningest active coach by winning percentage.
He has posted at least 20 wins in every season as Gonzaga’s head coach. Few also served as an assistant on the 2024 Olympic gold-medal men’s team.
Referee Joey Crawford rounded out the men’s inductees. Crawford worked 39 NBA seasons from 1977 to 2016.
He officiated every NBA Finals from 1986 through 2015. His resume lists 2,561 regular-season games and 374 playoff games.
Also enshrined were Doc Rivers, Mike D’Antoni, and Amar’e Stoudemire. Each was recognized for their impact on the professional game.
Women’s honorees
The women’s class features star players and a landmark national team. Elena Delle Donne and Candace Parker were among the inductees.
Chamique Holdsclaw was also elected to the Hall. She earned six All-Star nods and was the No. 1 overall pick in 1999.
Holdsclaw was named 1999 Rookie of the Year with the Washington Mystics. She won Olympic gold in 2000 and two Naismith College Player of the Year awards.
She captured three NCAA championships at Tennessee. In the WNBA, she led the league in scoring in 2002.
Holdsclaw also led the league in rebounding twice and made three All-WNBA teams. Her career combined collegiate and professional success.

The 1996 United States women’s national team completes the Class of 2026 slate. Tara VanDerveer coached that dominant roster.
The team featured Lisa Leslie, Sheryl Swoopes, Dawn Staley, Teresa Edwards, Rebecca Lobo, and Katrina McClain.
