Chipotle Nationals Showcase Elite High School Basketball Talent in Central Indiana

The Chipotle Nationals return to Hamilton Southeastern this week. The event runs Wednesday through Saturday in Central Indiana.

Sixteen teams will compete. Ten boys squads and six girls teams are entered. All teams rank inside ESPN’s top 25.

Tournament format and broadcast

Games begin Wednesday evening. No. 7 Wasatch Academy meets No. 10 Link Academy at 6 p.m. No. 8 Spire faces No. 9 Archbishop Stepinac at 7:45 p.m.

Thursday features four games. Prolific Prep vs. Montverde airs on ESPN2 at 2 p.m. Other matchups appear on ESPNU and ESPN2. Semifinals are Friday on ESPN2. The boys title game is Saturday at noon on ESPN.

The girls championship concludes Saturday at 10 a.m. on ESPN2. Several girls games also air on ESPN2 during the event.

Background and significance

The season-ending event began in 2009. It moved from Washington, D.C., to New York and Florida before landing in Central Indiana.

Paragon Marketing Group runs the tournament. President Rashid Ghazi said top programs and future college stars gather here. He noted Hamilton Southeastern offers close viewing for fans.

No. 1 — Arizona Compass (25-2)

A senior guard duo anchors this team. DeMarcus Henry is a 6-7 junior ranked among his class’s top ten prospects.

No. 2 — Dynamic Prep (16-1)

DaKari Spear and Austin Goosby lead the backcourt. Marcus Spear Jr. is a 6-10 forward and a top junior prospect.

No. 3 — CIA Bella Vista (23-4)

Miles Sadler is a ranked senior guard headed to West Virginia. Paul Osaruyi ranks among the nation’s top 2027 prospects.

No. 4 — Prolific Prep (37-3)

Caleb Holt is an Arizona commit and a top-5 class member. Bruce Branch is a 6-7 BYU commit with high national standing.

No. 5 — Montverde Academy (21-6)

Montverde brings size and experience. Lincoln Cosby and Joe Philon are 6-10 college commits to Michigan and UCLA.

No. 6 — Paul VI (33-2)

Jordan Smith is an Arkansas commit and a top-2026 prospect. The team features strong perimeter scoring options.

No. 7 — Wasatch Academy (24-6)

Wasatch counters with multiple Division I commits. Mariano Manciel and Katrelle Harmon are primary scoring threats.

No. 8 — Spire Academy (27-2)

King Gibson is a top-2027 point guard. Spire also fields length and wing scoring in its rotation.

No. 9 — Archbishop Stepinac (26-4)

Stepinac boasts three McDonald’s All-Americans. Jasiah Jervis leads the backcourt, while twin bigs control the paint.

No. 10 — Link Academy (23-4)

Carlos Medlock is a high-level lead guard and a Michigan State commit. The roster includes several college signees.

Girls competition and standouts

The girls bracket includes national prospects from Long Island Lutheran, Bullis, Bishop Gorman, Westtown, DME Academy, and The St. James Academy. Games run Thursday through Saturday.
