Paramount+ has renewed Criminal Minds: Evolution for a milestone 20th season. That season is scheduled to debut in 2027.
Producers 20th Television and CBS Studios consider Evolution a direct continuation of the original series. The original Criminal Minds ran 15 seasons on CBS and ended in 2020. The revival with the Evolution subtitle arrived two years later.
