Comedy Central’s late-night series returns Monday with a slate of new episodes. Jon Stewart will open the week with Jake Sullivan as his guest. Jon Stewart and Josh Johnson co-anchor The Daily Show this week, sharing hosting duties.

Guest schedule

On Monday, Stewart hosts Jake Sullivan. Sullivan is the former national security adviser to President Biden.

He co-hosts The Long Game podcast and teaches at Harvard Kennedy School.

  • Tuesday’s guest is Sterling K. Brown. He stars in and executive produces Hulu’s Paradise.

    The show’s penultimate Season 2 episode arrived this morning.

  • Wednesday’s guest is The Kid Mero. He formerly co-hosted Desus & Mero.

    He is promoting his Hot 97 radio show, Mornings with Mero.

  • Thursday’s guest is Eiza González. She appears in the sci-fi action comedy Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice.

    That film premieres on Hulu this Friday.

Josh Johnson’s momentum

From Tuesday through Thursday, Josh Johnson takes the desk. This marks Johnson’s second week hosting in 2026.

He previously hosted the week of January 20. Johnson recorded his first HBO special this past weekend.

The special is set to premiere later this year.

Johnson is a veteran writer for The Daily Show. He joined the host rotation midway through the show’s 2025 run.

Last year he hosted 15 episodes and resonated with the 18–49 demo.
