Jalisco Invites All to Enjoy Interactive Museum Exhibits
The Secretariat of Culture of Jalisco urged the public to visit the state network of Museos, Exposiciones y Galerías during Semana Santa and Pascua. The call highlights temporary shows, traditional displays and interactive experiences across the state.

Most venues will remain open with special holiday hours. Some sites will close temporarily, mainly on Friday, April 3.
The offer aims to provide cultural options in the Zona Metropolitana de Guadalajara and in the state’s interior. Filmogaz.com reports the information comes from the Secretariat of Culture.
Historic center of Guadalajara
Ex Convento del Carmen will open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 to 17:00. On Sunday it will receive visitors from 11:00 to 14:00.
Its program includes Espe Pons’s “Para no olvidar” and Noris Binet’s “Recuperar lo sagrado femenino.” It also shows the collective exhibition “Raíces y Alas, lo que nos une y nos eleva,” promoted by SISEMH.
Museo Palacio de Gobierno and Museo de las Artes Populares
Both museums will operate Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00. On Sunday they will open from 10:00 to 14:00.
Museo de las Artes Populares will present the traditional Altar de Dolores during the holiday period.
Galería Juan Soriano
The gallery will welcome the public Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00. Exhibits include Angelina Fernández’s “¿Por qué creímos que todo esto era amor?”
It also hosts “Transiciones: Una Mirada Profunda a la Identidad Trans,” which explores diverse trans experiences.
Zapopan highlights
The Museo Jalisco Paseo Interactivo (JAPI) will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. The space offers immersive experiences about the state’s identity, nature and culture.
General admission costs 150 pesos. Preferential rates are available and the “Wérika” experience requires an extra fee.

- The tour covers tequila’s cultural legacy and its denomination of origin.
- It also explains the agave landscape’s designation as World Heritage.
Tlaquepaque and other regional sites
The Museo Regional de la Cerámica in San Pedro Tlaquepaque will open Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00. It will also display an Altar de Dolores.
Interior museums and archaeological sites
The Museo Interpretativo del Paisaje Agavero y la Minería will receive visitors Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 15:00. The Centro Interpretativo Guachimontones will open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00.
Guachimontones will host special activities, including a presentation of the ball game on April 2 and 3.
