Home Bargains Supports Alder Hey with Every £2.25 Purchase

Home Bargains will donate 50p from each sale of a new children’s toothbrush set priced at £2.25. The contribution will go to Alder Hey Children’s Charity, based in Liverpool.

What is included in the set

The kit contains two soft-bristled toothbrushes and a 75ml tube of fluoride toothpaste. A child-friendly beaker or toothpaste holder is also included. The product targets children aged three to six years.

Design and purpose

The brushes have soft bristles and easy-grip handles. Bright colours aim to encourage regular brushing. The toothpaste supports cavity protection for children aged three and older.

Donation details and partners

TJ Morris Ltd, the owner of Home Bargains, will donate 50p per toothbrush set sold. The initiative helps fund life-changing care and facilities at Alder Hey Hospital. Alder Hey treats about 330,000 patients and families every year.

Previous Home Bargains support

Home Bargains has previously backed the charity through an annual Christmas card campaign. Staff have also taken part in employee fundraising. The retailer supported the charity during the build of the new hospital.

Health advice for parents

For children aged six and under, a pea-sized amount of toothpaste is advised. Supervised brushing helps reduce swallowing. For under-threes, use no more than a smear of toothpaste.

Filmogaz.com covered the announcement and confirmed the charity number for Alder Hey Children’s Charity is 1160661. Parents can buy the set to promote oral health and support the hospital.
