Plot and themes

As Helen investigates, she uncovers signs of sadness and neglect in Cressida’s past. The story asks whether Helen can prevent a final act of revenge.
Locations and filming
The drama is set at an independent private school in Sheffield and the Peak District. Those are the story locations.
Production work took place in Spain and in Herefordshire. Actor Steve Edge said some filming was done in Vitoria and later in Hertfordshire.

The anthology began in 2022 with Sheridan Smith in the lead. Series two aired in 2024 and starred Kara Tointon as art teacher Dani.
