School Manager Wins £2,000 in Weekly Lottery Draw

School Manager Wins £2,000 in Weekly Lottery Draw

Sarah Kelshaw has claimed the £2,000 prize in Bury’s weekly draw. She works as a school manager at All Saints Church of England Primary School in Whitefield.

Ms Kelshaw previously worked as a teaching assistant in reception. She moved into her current role in September 2025.

The win came at an opportune moment. A family cruise is booked for October.

She plans to use the money for extra spending and treats for her children. The prize will help with holiday costs and small family treats.

Details of the draw

The Made in Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw operates as a not-for-profit initiative. Funds raised provide training and interest-free loans to start-up businesses in Bury.

The draw also supports other local initiatives across the borough. Organisers have thanked ticket holders for enabling stories like Ms Kelshaw’s.

There are only 2,400 tickets available. Each ticket costs £2 per week and gives a chance to win £2,000 every Wednesday.

Local school success

All Saints has produced three previous winners. Ms Kelshaw is the latest staff member to benefit from the weekly lottery draw.
