Munster Announces Squad for Clash Against Bulls in Pretoria

Munster has named its side for Saturday’s URC Round 14 trip to Loftus Versfeld. Kickoff is at midday Irish time, 2pm local.

Selection and leadership

There are eight changes from the team beaten by the Sharks in Durban last week. Craig Casey will captain Munster for a second time this season.

He previously led the province in the season opener against Scarlets in September. Munster announces squad ahead of the clash against the Bulls in Pretoria.

Milestones and returns

Diarmuid Barron starts his 100th match for the province. He made his debut in September 2018 away to Cardiff.

Returning Ireland internationals Jack Crowley, Craig Casey and Jeremy Loughman are in the matchday 23. Their inclusion strengthens both backs and bench depth.

Backline composition

Ben O’Connor, Calvin Nash and Seán O’Brien are named in the back three. Alex Nankivell and Dan Kelly form the midfield pairing.
