BCCI Unveils TATA IPL 2026 Second Phase Schedule

On March 26, 2026 the BCCI announced the schedule for the second phase of the TATA IPL 2026.

The remainder of the league stage will feature 50 matches. The matches run from April 13 to May 24, 2026.

Schedule overview

The second phase will be staged across 12 Indian venues. Teams will resume fixtures as the tournament reaches a decisive period.

The opening match on April 13 sees Sunrisers Hyderabad face Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad. The contest will set the tone for the run to the playoffs.

Venues, timing and match format

Matches will take place in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Delhi. Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Jaipur will also host fixtures.

Dharamshala, Raipur and New Chandigarh complete the list of venues. The schedule includes eight double-headers.

Match start times

Afternoon games will begin at 03:30 PM IST. Evening matches will start at 07:30 PM IST.

Home fixtures and allocations

Punjab Kings will play home matches in New Chandigarh and Dharamshala. They have three matches scheduled in Dharamshala during this phase.

Rajasthan Royals will host four home games in Jaipur. Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play three matches at their Bengaluru base.

RCB will also stage two home matches in Raipur. Teams will jockey for position as the league reaches its final weeks.

Playoffs and further details

The venues for the playoffs will be announced later. The BCCI said it will confirm those locations in due course.
