“Police Appeal After ‘Forever 16’ Memorial Honors Cyclist Crash Victim”
Police are investigating after a 16-year-old boy died following a collision in Grangetown, Cardiff. The incident occurred at the junction of Penarth Road and Clare Road on Wednesday, March 25.

The crash involved a red SsangYong Tivoli and a bicycle. It happened at about 12.27pm, according to officers.
Emergency crews from the ambulance, police and fire services attended. The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts to save him.

South Wales Police said the driver of the SsangYong is assisting enquiries. Specialist family liaison officers are supporting the victim’s relatives.
