With the 2025-26 school year winding down, many seniors are opening college acceptance letters. Decisions are being finalized for fall enrollment.
Ivy League admissions remain highly competitive. The Ivy Institute reports just 0.3% of applicants gain entry to any of the eight schools.
Local students and their choices
Norwalk
Norwalk High senior Christian Pierre earned offers from Harvard, Yale and the University of Pennsylvania. He ultimately chose to attend Stanford University.
Norwalk classmate
Marcello Maturi received acceptances from Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania. He plans to matriculate at Columbia.
Trumbull
Anthony Deras was admitted to five Ivy institutions: Harvard, Brown, Yale, Columbia and Cornell. He decided to enroll at Yale.
Greenwich
Greenwich High valedictorian Hanna Klingbeil secured admission to Yale and Brown. She will attend Yale in the fall.
